In 1959, brothers Alfred and Joe Ferrara opened Ferrara’s Imported Foods in Mayfield Heights. They began by making their own recipe for Sicilian style pizza—a nod to their family’s roots in Sicily—and slowly expanded the shop over time into the specialty Italian grocery store and deli that it is today. Our store’s shelves and deli cases are stocked with foods and products imported from Italy, authentic recipe soups, sub sandwiches, and antipasto salads made in-house, freshly baked bread, and so much more.

Ferrara’s is now a third-generation family business, owned and operated by Frank “Chick” Ferrara and John Ferrara. While decades have passed since the doors of our store first opened, Ferrara’s continues the same traditions that have made it such a welcoming and popular destination for generations of families.
